For those of you asking for the boogeyman to make a return, according to my friend, he's on a legends contract meaning he can make appearances, he just can't actively wrestle. Which I personally don't mind. If this guy was creeping around backstage and in the locker rooms from now on, I'd actually consider watching WWE again.

Feel like the gimmick would have worked better as a heel than a face. This guy legit made me run out of the living room everytime his music hit as a kid! His limits in the ring and old age aside, he was wholly dedicated and practically spiritually aligned with his character, and clearly did everything in his power to get it over! Perhaps one of the most admirable and impressive commits to wrestling kayfabe ever achieved, but the gimmick's ultimate potential was hopelessly squandered by trying to make a figure of children's nightmares, the creator of FEAR HIMSELF...a do gooder.
Regardless, it was a fun ride while it lasted. ๐
